Boss DD-7

The Boss DD-7 Digital Delay continued the compact line in the late 2000s and added modelling of classic delay types to the digital core. As well as a clean digital delay it offers a warmer analogue-style repeat, a modulated delay, a reverse mode and a long delay time measured in seconds, with tap tempo set either by foot or through an external jack. Stereo outputs allow ping-pong style spreads between two amps. It is a flexible, gig-friendly pedal that covers slapback, ambient washes and rhythmic repeats without a rack unit or a menu system.
