Boss RC-2

The Boss RC-2 Loop Station is a compact looper from the 2000s that brought multi-track looping into a standard pedal enclosure. It can record and layer phrases, store a number of them in its internal memory, and supply a built-in drum guide with adjustable tempo to help keep loops in time. Recording is handled by a single footswitch with a mode dial, and loop levels are set with a knob. Its ability to hold several stored loops, unusual in a pedal of that size at the time, made it popular with solo performers and practice-room users alike.
