Dean ML
The Dean ML is a solid-body electric guitar built by Dean Guitars, the American brand founded by Dean Zelinsky in the late 1970s. The ML takes the proportions of the Gibson Explorer and Flying V and exaggerates them into a sharply angular, offset shape with long pointed horns, a design that became one of the emblematic heavy metal silhouettes. It is normally built with two humbucking pickups, a set neck or neck-through construction and a Floyd Rose or tune-o-matic bridge, and it is most associated with the playing of Dimebag Darrell of Pantera, whose signature versions helped fix the shape in metal history.
