Fender Showmaster

The Fender Showmaster is an electric guitar Fender sold in the 2000s. It is a set-neck superstrat in the modern rock idiom rather than a traditional Fender shape, with a contoured body, a pair of humbucking pickups, and versions offering either a fixed bridge or a locking vibrato, and some models carry a flamed or quilted maple top. It was made in the Far East and in the United States under different designations, and it represents Fender's effort to sell into the market for high-gain guitars built along the lines of the instruments its competitors had supplied since the 1980s.
