Gibson Everly Brothers Flattop
The Gibson Everly Brothers Flattop is an acoustic guitar built for the American duo Phil and Don Everly. It is a flat-top of moderate size related to the company's jumbo instruments, distinguished by a double pickguard with a star motif, a bound body and neck and a natural or sunburst finish, and it was fitted with an internal pickup in some versions so that it could be amplified on stage. The guitar was sold during the period when the Everlys were among the most successful recording artists in the United States, and it has been reissued since.
