Gibson Les Paul Supreme
The Gibson Les Paul Supreme is a version of the single-cutaway solid-body guitar introduced in the 2000s with a heavily carved back as well as a carved top, so that the body is hollowed between the two halves and no control cavity cover is needed on the back. It carries two humbucking pickups, a bound body and neck and elaborate inlays including a decorative motif on the headstock, and it is offered with figured maple tops in several finishes. Instruments of this kind sit at the top of the production range, and they are built for players who want an ornate, resonant version of the design.
