Gibson SG Supreme

The Gibson SG Supreme is a decorated version of the symmetrical double-cutaway guitar produced in the 2000s. It keeps the thin mahogany body and the set neck of the standard instrument, but adds a figured maple top in several colours, elaborate inlays and gold hardware, and it carries two humbucking pickups with a control layout of separate volume and tone controls. Instruments of this kind are aimed at players who want the shape and sound of the design in a more ornate form, and they are produced in smaller numbers than the standard catalogue models.
