Gibson Victory

The Gibson Victory is a solid-body electric guitar from the early 1980s, the guitar counterpart of the Victory Bass and part of the company's range of modern designs from that period. It has an angular solid body, a bolt-on neck and humbucking pickups with a control layout including coil splitting or active tone shaping depending on the version, and it was offered in several models with different hardware and finishes. Like several of Gibson's instruments of the time, the Victory was not a commercial success and was discontinued after a few years, and it is now collected as a curiosity.
