Gretsch BST 1000
The Gretsch BST 1000 is a solid-body electric guitar from the 1970s, part of the range Gretsch sold during the period when the company was owned by Baldwin and was trying to modernise its output. It has a slab body with a double-cutaway outline, a bolt-on neck and two humbucking pickups with a simple control layout, which put it in the market for the solid-body guitars that had taken over from hollow designs. It was produced in several versions and sold in modest numbers before Gretsch ceased manufacturing for a time.
