Ibanez JS series
The Ibanez JS series is the line of signature electric guitars built for Joe Satriani. Instruments in the series are superstrats with contoured bodies, slim necks and a pair of humbucking pickups, fitted with a locking vibrato bridge set up for the expressive whammy-bar work that characterises his playing, and they are offered in several versions at different prices with a range of finishes. The design has been refined continuously since the late 1980s, with changes to the neck profile, pickups and hardware as the player's preferences have developed.
