Ibanez SZ
The Ibanez SZ is a series of electric guitars introduced in the 2000s. Instruments in the range have solid bodies with a carved top and a double-cutaway outline, set necks rather than bolted ones, and two humbucking pickups with separate volume and tone controls, which places them closer to the traditional American designs than to the company's own superstrats. They were offered in several specifications with different tops and hardware, and they were discontinued after a number of years, making them an example of the company's attempts to sell into the market for conventional single-cutaway and double-cutaway guitars.
