Ibanez Studio series

The Ibanez Studio series is a line of electric guitars and basses the company produced in the 1980s. Instruments in the series used solid bodies with a contoured outline, set or bolted necks and multi-laminated construction, and they carried the company's own pickups with active or passive electronics; some versions included unusual finishes and elaborate hardware. The Studio models sat above the cheapest instruments in the range and were aimed at players who wanted a well-built guitar for studio and stage work, and they are collected now for their construction and their place in the company's development.
