Rickenbacker 620
The Rickenbacker 620 is a solid-body electric guitar from the company's range, produced from the 1960s onwards. It has a compact double-cutaway body with the maker's distinctive outline, a set neck and two of the company's own pickups with a control layout including separate volume and tone controls, and it produces the bright, ringing and very articulate sound that identifies a Rickenbacker, with a strong upper register and a characteristic jangle on chords. The model has been in and out of the catalogue over the decades and is favoured by players drawn to that particular voice.
