Roland AX-Edge
The Roland AX-Edge is a keytar from the company's line of strap-worn keyboards. It has forty-nine velocity-sensitive keys, a set of controllers on the neck for pitch bend and modulation and additional buttons and sliders on the body, and it contains its own sound engine with a range of synthesizer and other voices, as well as sending data over MIDI to external equipment. It can run on batteries, and it is designed for stage use, where a player needs to move about while playing. It continues a line of instruments the company has produced since the 1980s.
