Roland E-series
The Roland E-series is a family of arranger keyboards the company has produced, instruments designed to supply a complete accompaniment as well as the player's own part. They contain a large set of sounds, automatic accompaniments covering many styles, and often a sequencer for recording, so that a single player can perform a piece with a full backing. Instruments of this kind are used by solo entertainers, by players learning repertoire and in the home, and the E-series has been one of the company's long-running keyboard ranges.
