Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster
The Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster is the signature model built for the Swedish guitarist, known for his classically influenced solo playing. It reproduces the features of his own instruments: a fretboard scalloped between the frets, so that the fingertips press the strings onto the wood rather than the fret and can therefore bend and vibrate them more freely, a set of overwound single-coil pickups for a full and sustaining sound, a brass nut and the traditional vibrato bridge. Fender has offered it in several versions, and it is aimed at players who want the technique and the sound of his style.
