Why it matters
Kramer's Original Collection brings the 1980s shapes back at prices well below the collector market, and the Pacer is the mainstream model among them. The Pacer Classic lists at $379, which makes it one of the least expensive routes into a Floyd Rose-equipped guitar from a brand with genuine history. It is a working instrument rather than a reissue exercise, and the Deluxe versions add features for more money.
Note
The HSS/HSH mainstream Kramer.
Specifications
- Scale length: 647.7 mm (25.5 in)
- Neck shape: K-Speed SlimTaper
Before you buy
- Licensed Floyd Rose hardware is not the same as the original, so expect to learn the setup routine
- The Classic and Deluxe are different instruments at different prices
- Pointy-era shapes and slim necks suit some styles and not others
