Why it matters
The M series is one of the oldest names in the ESP catalogue and remains the core double-cut design across the range. ESP lists the E-II M-II at $4,199 with a case, above the LTD imports and below the USA and Custom Shop tiers. Because the same silhouette appears at several price levels, the specification sheet matters more than the model name.
Note
Bolt-on shred platform (M-II the classic).
Specifications
- Scale length: 647.7 mm (25.5 in)
- Neck shape: Thin U
Before you buy
- E-II, ESP USA and LTD are separate lines with different pricing
- Older M models often carry replacement pickups
- Tremolo arms and original cases go missing on used listings
