Why it matters

The name misleads often enough to be worth stating plainly: there is no titanium in the string. It is a nylon variant made for a brighter, clearer tone with more projection than standard nylon, which is why it turns up on ukuleles that sound quiet or closed-in. D'Addario makes it in all four sizes, and it is usually the least expensive of the three D'Addario lines here.
