Boss LS-2

The Boss LS-2 Line Selector is a compact utility pedal that routes signals rather than shaping tone. It can switch an amplifier between two instruments or send a guitar through two different effect chains, and its level controls allow each path to be balanced so switching does not change volume. It also works as a mute and as a buffer, which makes it useful at the front of a long pedalboard. Introduced in the early 1990s, it has stayed in the catalogue because its function does not date, and it is often the invisible fix behind a complicated rig.
