Gibson J-200

The Gibson J-200, later called the Super Jumbo, is the largest and most elaborately decorated of Gibson's flat-top acoustics, introduced in the late 1930s. It has a wide body with a rounded lower bout, a maple back and sides with a spruce top and a long scale, which together produce a big, well balanced and powerful voice with a strong low end. It is decorated with a mustache bridge, a large pickguard, bound body and neck and crown inlays on the fretboard, and it has long been regarded as the company's flagship acoustic guitar.
