Lucy
Lucy is the name given to a Gibson Les Paul that belonged to George Harrison. It is a gold-top Les Paul of the late 1950s, and the story attached to it is that it was given to him by Eric Clapton; it was later refinished in red, and it was used on recordings during the late 1960s and after. It is one of several guitars closely identified with Harrison's playing, and it is valued as an instrument associated with one of the most widely heard guitarists of the period, as well as for the particular sound of a late 1950s Les Paul.
