The Warrior is Jackson's angular extreme shape, aimed at players in heavier styles who want something sharper than a superstrat.

Why it matters
Jackson's extreme shapes exist for players who do not want another S-style, and the Warrior has been part of the line for decades. Current production starts at the JS series and runs up through the Pro and MJ tiers, so the shape is available at very different budgets and with correspondingly different hardware. Balanced against that, the outline is impractical seated and hard to case, which is why these guitars are usually bought deliberately.
Note
Aggressive angular body; thrash/death metal staple.
Specifications
- Scale length: unknown
- Neck shape: Speed Neck
Before you buy
- The shape needs a stand, a fitted case and a strap that holds the neck up
- JS-tier hardware is basic, so upgrades are common on used examples
- Check which tier a listing belongs to before comparing prices
