Why it matters
Milton Kyser patented the trigger-style Quick-Change capo in 1978, the company was incorporated in Texas in 1980, and the capo is still hand-built in the USA. The aluminium body has padded arms, and the one-handed trigger is the reason the design has lasted. At $24 (September 2026) the same price covers electric, classical, 12-string and partial variants.
