Why it matters
This is where Alvarez competes on price against the large American names, and the numbered tiers make it fairly clear what extra money buys, usually better tonewoods and electronics. Solid tops are standard across most of the line, which is the main claim at the entry level. The range is broad enough that two guitars under the same series name can differ a lot.
Note
The value benchmark line.
Specifications
- Scale length: 630.2 mm (24.811 in)
- Neck shape: unknown
Before you buy
- The tier number, not the series name, indicates the specification
- Check whether a model has a pickup system or is acoustic only
- Solid tops want humidity control in dry climates
