Why it matters
The shape put B.C. Rich on the map in the late 1970s and has survived every change of ownership at the company. Current imported versions use a 24-5/8 in scale, a string-through-body bridge and DiMarzio humbuckers, and B.C. Rich lists the Rich B Legacy at $1,599.99 after a reduction from $2,500. A hand-built USA 10-string sits at the top of the range as a separate instrument.
Note
Horned body famously debuted in 10-string form.

- Scale length: 625.5 mm (24.626 in)

Before you buy
- Imported Legacy and hand-built USA guitars are different propositions
