Why it matters

Blackstar scaled the Debut line up to 100W for 2025 and kept it all-analogue, with a discrete MOSFET preamp voiced on the HT-20R MKIII and St. James 6L6. Two footswitchable channels, Plate and Hall reverb, a series effects loop and a speaker-emulated line out cover gigs and silent recording. Power reduction to 5W makes the same amp usable at home, and the 1x12 format weighs 12.54 kg.

Blackstar scaled its no-frills all-analogue Debut line up to 100W in 1x12, 2x12, head and cab formats for 2025, with a MOSFET preamp voiced on the HT-20R MKIII and St. James 6L6. A 5W power-reduction mode, ISF tone shaping and a speaker-emulated line out suit it to both gigs and silent practice.
