Nucleo

A boutique reverb developed with Paul Davids, with three engines and a hardware switch that gives every knob a second function.

Watch

Tone Chase Basement's first-impression clip questions whether the anticipation around the Nucleo was justified, which makes it a useful counterweight to the launch material.

Why it matters

The Nucleo uses an M7 Cortex-driven engine with three algorithms — Reactor, Room and Hall — and the Function 2 rocker switch unlocks a second control layer per knob instead of hiding parameters in menus. It was built with Paul Davids and inspired by the acoustics of the Zwentendorf nuclear power plant. At $449 (September 2026) it sits in boutique territory.

Note

Boutique reverb developed with Paul Davids and inspired by the cavernous acoustics of the Zwentendorf nuclear power plant. Three engines (Reactor, Room, Hall) and a hardware Function 2 switch that unlocks a second set of controls per knob, avoiding menu-diving.
