An all-analog bucket-brigade delay with a footswitch pitch-bend and a mode that doubles delay time to 1.5 seconds.
Watch
DigiTech's clip on the Drag walks through the pitch-bend behaviour that sets it apart from a standard bucket-brigade delay, which is the feature to hear first.
Why it matters
Friction is a real-time pitch-bend operated from the footswitch, which is a different behaviour from the modulation usually found on an analogue delay. Standard delay time runs to 750 ms, and Rubberneck mode doubles that to 1.5 seconds. Four modulation waveforms are on board, the signal path is analogue and true bypass, and the jacks are top-mounted.
Note
DOD's bucket-brigade analog delay with a foot-controllable "Friction" pitch-bend and a Rubberneck mode that doubles delay time to 1.5 seconds. Announced August 2026; tap tempo requires the optional FS3X footswitch.

Before you buy
- Tap tempo needs the optional FS3X footswitch — budget for it if you want tempo control
- 750 ms standard delay, 1.5 s in Rubberneck mode
- true bypass with top-mounted jacks, USD 219 (2026-09)
