Why it matters
The Eclipse is ESP's own take on the single-cut shape, aimed at heavier music with a flatter fingerboard radius and modern hardware. ESP's site lists the E-II Eclipse at $2,729 with a case, and LTD Eclipse models sit below that. The Sweetwater E-II listing specifies a mahogany body with a maple top, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and two coil-split active EMG humbuckers.
Note
ESP's Les Paul-flavored single cut; the metal Les Paul alternative.
Specifications
- Scale length: 628.6 mm (24.75 in)
- Neck shape: Thin U
Before you buy
- $2,729 for the E-II Eclipse on ESP's site in September 2026
- LTD Eclipse models sit below it in price
- check the pickup set, as the active EMG versions need a battery
