A practice app that separates any song into stems, so you can remove the guitar and slow a solo without changing pitch.
Watch
Jake Parker Guitar's clip shows the lead and rhythm parts separated for play-along, and Philipp Nuqui's video covers using the app to learn songs faster.
Why it matters
Stem separation runs on any track you load, into vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and strings, so you can practise against the original recording with the guitar part muted or isolated. Chord detection, key detection and pitch-preserving speed control cover the rest of a session, and loops let you work one section at a time. A free tier handles occasional use, while Premium and Pro add more uploads and a VST plugin.
Note
Moises is the default practice companion for guitarists: it separates any song into stems so you can mute the guitar and slow a solo without changing pitch, and it detects chords as you play. It has 74M+ users, a free tier, and Premium/Pro subscription tiers.
