Ovation's roundback acoustic-electrics, the Elite and Legend lines, built on the maker's composite bowl and multi-soundhole design.

Why it matters
Ovation's bowl-backed construction is what separates these from a conventional acoustic, and the Elite and Legend names cover the upper part of the line. The current Timeless Elite, a deep-contour cutaway roundback, is listed at $1,149 at Sweetwater. Ovation also sells lower-priced Celebrity models that carry the Elite name, so the full model number matters when comparing listings.
Note
Multi-soundhole flagship roundbacks.
