Watch
Why it matters
Vox built the Teardrop in the 1960s alongside the Phantom, and its narrow, asymmetric body made it one of the more distinctive British electrics of that decade. Originals now trade on the vintage market, and Vox's own instrument shop lists only the Mark III Mini, a smaller version of the same outline. There is no current list price for a full-size Teardrop, so this entry records none.
Note
The iconic 60s "Teardrop" guitar (Brian Jones, Tom Petty).
