A 60-watt 1x10 combo that brings BOSS's Katana effects library and a USB audio interface to bass practice and small gigs.
Watch
American Musical Supply's video covers the Katana-110 Bass and its controls.
Why it matters
Three amp voicings, a four-band EQ with selectable mid frequencies and 60+ effects across the comp, drive and FX sections make it a full rig without pedals. The XLR DI can be set post, pre or direct, and USB audio lets it double as a recording interface. It uses Class AB power rather than the Class D layout common in light combos, and weighs 37 lb.
Note
BOSS's bass take on the Katana concept: a 60-watt Class AB 1x10 combo with three amp voicings, a deep four-band EQ and BOSS's effects library. A favourite for practice, home recording and small gigs thanks to its XLR out and USB interface.
