The third-generation Katana 50 keeps the 50W Class AB 1x12 combo format and adds a Pushed character, USB-C recording and power scaling for $349.
Watch
Marty Music's video walks through the Bluetooth connection with the BT-DUAL adaptor, and Geek Weekly's video puts the Katana 50 Gen 3 next to a Fender Mustang LT25.
Why it matters
Six amp characters plus Variation give twelve voices, and the new Pushed character is voiced for edge-of-breakup tones. Power Control switches between 0.5W, 25W and 50W, so the same amp works at home and on a stage. USB-C recording with an IR cab sim and a headphones out cover silent practice, and 60+ effects are available through Tone Studio. Bluetooth needs the optional BT-DUAL adaptor, around $59.99.
Note
The third generation of the best-selling Katana combo remains the default mid-price modelling amp: evolved Tube Logic voicings, the new edge-of-breakup Pushed character, USB-C audio and power scaling. Bluetooth requires the optional BT-DUAL adaptor (around $59.99).
