Why it matters
Duesenberg builds in Germany and prices its instruments above mainstream American production models, positioning them as boutique alternatives with a strong mid-century European look. The Caribou uses a chambered body, which changes weight and acoustic response compared with a solid slab of the same size. Both models appear in several colour and pickup combinations, so the exact specification affects resale.
Note
The offset double-cut platforms.
