Why it matters
The AZES takes the outline and neck feel of the AZ range and brings it down to a beginner budget. It competes directly with the Squier and Yamaha starter guitars, but carries an Ibanez neck profile that many players find quick to play. Two versions exist, one with a humbucker in the bridge position and one with three single coils, so the choice is mostly about the sounds needed.
Note
Beginner AZ at accessible prices.
