Native Instruments' long-running amp sim and effects rack, $199 with loyalty pricing from $99 for existing NI owners.
Watch
Kato's Guitar Room puts it against the Yamaha THR30II and UAD Dream '65 on clean tones, and Avi Blum's clip covers the metal side of the rack.
Why it matters
Four machine-learning amps and five ICM pedals are the core, but the rack format is what separates it: effects, Lo-Fi components and an Ozone Maximiser can be placed anywhere in the chain. The Cabinet Impulse Response loader accepts third-party IRs, so you are not tied to the stock cabinets. Loop Machine Pro makes it usable for practice and performance as well as recording.
Note
Guitar Rig 7 Pro is still Native Instruments' headline guitar suite and one of the most widely used amp-sim racks; NI lists it at $199 with loyalty pricing from $99. It is the default recommendation for players who want effects and sound design as much as amp tones.
