A two-channel, 15-watt Class A 2x10 combo from Gibson's Falcon line, with each channel switchable between full, half and low power.
Watch
Working Class Music's Falcon combo clip sets the amp against a Deluxe Reverb, which is the useful reference if you already know that amp.
Why it matters
Multi-Watt and Duo-Class wiring let each channel run at roughly 15, 6 or 2 watts on 6L6 valves, or 12, 5 and 1 watts with 6V6s, so cranked tones are available at practice volume. Reverb and tremolo are both tube-driven, and there is a buffered series effects loop. Two Jensen Blackbird 10-inch speakers are fitted, a three-button footswitch is included, and the amp is handcrafted in Petaluma, California.
Note
Gibson expanded its Falcon tube line with a two-channel 2x10 combo, each channel switchable between full, half and low power for cranked tones at practice volume. Built in Petaluma, California with a buffered FX loop and tube-driven reverb and tremolo.
