The Mosrite Ventures Model is Semie Moseley's surf-era design, now a vintage-only instrument traded between collectors and players who want that specific snap.

Why it matters
Moseley built Mosrite guitars in California, and the Ventures endorsement turned the brand into a household name among guitarists of the period. The original company folded decades ago, so every Ventures Model is a vintage instrument carrying the usual risks around necks, frets and originality. Modern copies exist from other builders, but they are not Mosrites and should not be priced as such.
Note
Semie Moseley's moustache-pickup surf' icon.
