Why it matters
Danelectro's '59 shape is one of the few 1950s electrics still in production in anything close to its original form, and the NOS+ version uses updated lipstick pickups. The body is a wooden frame with masonite top and back. Guitar Center lists the '59M NOS+ at $569, with left-handed and metalflake versions priced differently.
