Why it matters
Strandberg's designs remove the headstock to shorten overall length, which makes the instruments easier to carry and changes the balance on a strap. The Boden Bass applies that thinking to a bass, with standard and multi-scale versions across the range. Prices sit in the same region as other boutique imports, and the more specialised versions cost more.
Note
Headless bass line.

Before you buy
- headless basses need specific strings and tuning hardware
- the EndurNeck profile divides opinion, so try one if possible
- without a headstock the instrument balances differently
