The B.C. Rich Eagle is the company's sweeping double-cutaway design, a shape that now lives almost entirely in the vintage and used market.

Why it matters
B.C. Rich's output in the 1970s and 1980s defined a strand of American guitar design, and the Eagle was one of its double-cutaway models. The brand has changed hands several times and the current catalogue concentrates on a smaller set of shapes, so there is no current list price to record. Condition, originality and the era of the build are what set value on the examples still circulating.
Note
Swooping bird-shaped body.
