Why it matters
The Pacifica line has always been the value option in the HSS superstrat market, and the Professional models are the first tier built to Japanese Premium standards with alder bodies, slim C-shape necks and Yamaha's own Reflectone pickups. That build puts them in the same bracket as American-made instruments rather than imports. The Professional Plus SC versions use the same platform with a different pickup configuration.
