Why it matters
Chapman built its reputation on long specification lists at modest prices, and the basses applied the same formula to four- and five-string models. The company's site now lists guitars only, so these instruments are a used-market proposition rather than a current line. They are part of the brand's early output rather than a continuing line.
Note
Chapman bass line.
