Why it matters
The I-35 LC is Collings' version of the semi-hollow double-cut that has been a studio staple since the late 1950s. Laminated construction, which is what the LC designation refers to, keeps it closer to the original formula than a carved solid top would be. Build standard puts it well above production pricing, and supply runs through a small dealer network.
