The Dean ML is an asymmetric V and Explorer hybrid, the silhouette most closely tied to the brand's identity.

Why it matters
The ML explains Dean as a company: a large pointed body with a wide stance that reads as a metal guitar from across a room. The line runs from budget builds to Select models with higher-grade tops and hardware, so one name covers a wide spread of specification. It is a shape-first purchase, and the practical questions are about balance and case fit rather than subtle differences.
Note
V/Explorer hybrid shape; the Dean signature silhouette.

Before you buy
- The large body needs a shaped case or bag
