The Fano Alt de Facto line is a family of American-made electrics that set familiar vintage outlines to specifications that never existed in the original era.

Why it matters
Fano's method is to take a recognisable shape and give it its own standard options and a base price, then build to order from there. That places the brand in small-shop territory, where guitars are commissioned rather than picked off a wall. The range spans set-neck and bolt-on models with quite different feel and balance.
Note
The original vintage-fiction line.
Specifications
- Scale length: 628.6 mm (24.75 in)
- Neck shape: unknown
Before you buy
- Most models are built to order from a base price plus options
- Option choices push the final figure well above that base
- Dealer stock is limited outside North America
