Why it matters
Ibanez's signature programme is mostly filled with long-established names, so adding a player chiefly known for session and sideman work is a change of direction. The design is built on the RG, the shape most associated with the brand, and ships with active EMG pickups. As a new release, dealer pricing and availability are still settling.
Note
Long-awaited signature for the-session-guitarist? — the acclaimed session guitarist.
