The Little Jane is Furch's travel guitar, with a neck that folds into the body so the packed instrument fits a bag small enough to carry on.
Watch
Why it matters
Travel guitars usually shrink the body, and the compromise is audible; the Little Jane instead folds the neck away, which shortens the packed length while leaving the body and soundboard intact. It is built in the Czech Republic from solid tonewoods, so it costs several times what a laminate travel guitar does. Owners generally treat it as a second instrument for travel rather than a main guitar.
Note
The travel model with a unique take-apart neck design.
